Most families wanted to have
certain symbols that they
identified with, so the idea
of a Coat of Arms was
developed with the Normans
reaching back to William the
Conqueror in 1066AD. When
young knights went off to
war, they would display this
symbols on their battle
shield so that other knights
knew who was behind the
armor. This Scroll includes
the Coat of Arms and history
on one 11” x 17” decorated
parchment paper. We can
also place this treasure in
a black or cherry wood
